I hired Adam and his team to build a 5m by 6m single-story rear extension with a pitched roof. The project was completed on time and to a high specification. I am very pleased that I have chosen Rapid Bee Ltd out of the seven different building contractors who came to view the site and provided quotations. From the start, Rapid Bee Ltd has proven to be fully committed to bringing our vision of the extension into reality. Adam was very proactive in communicating with the architect and structural engineer to provide the best solution to several design issues including the foundation and roof designs. We’ve used Rapid Bee twice in the last two years and have been so happy with the work that they have done and our overall experience dealing with Adam, Saul and the team. From the initial planning phase to the actual build and the post build snagging, their service has been first class. We were a bit apprehensive selecting builders to work on our first project as we’re not very technical but Adam and Saul were so helpful and detailed we were instantly put at ease. They provided us with detailed plans of the work by week, upfront with their pricing highlighting what was included and not included, letting us know what materials needs to be onsite and when, weekly project updates and walk throughs and so flexible when we decided to change things slightly or asked for additional work to be done. We hired Rapid Bee to carry out a rear extension which included taking down the existing conservatory and kitchen, and extend the house towards the garden. The 5-month project required to dig deep new foundations, heavy steel to repoint the structure, new walls and roof and all the related plumbing, electrical, plastering, tiling, decorative works down to the finer details. From the outset we were impressed by Rapid Bee's professionalism and eye for detail. Adam and Saulius who lead the team, provided a detailed plan of works and payment schedule broken down by week, which by the end of the project had been followed with impressive precision. Additionals, improvements, and any changes to the original plan were discussed and accommodated along the way with always a 'can-do' attitude. Nothing seems to be a big deal for Rapid Bee when it comes to project adjustments, somehow they manage to keep one's peace of mind at all times. Communication was very fluid, Adam and Saulius were always there to answer any concerns, clarify any issue or provide updates, and this was in addition to the regular weekly 'touch-base' meetings. They have the logistics extremely ironed out and it shows how experienced everyone in the team is, they work hard, long hours, and, as the work was done during the winter months, seem to be impervious to the weather. After the day's work, everything was left clean and tidy. It is with pleasure Cliff and I provide feedback on Rapid Bee. We engaged Rapid Bee to build a large rear extension and patio area. We were initially impressed with Adam and Saulius' comprehensive quoting process which far exceeded other builders. They were not the cheapest but their professionalism displayed during this process and the feedback from other clients impressed us sufficiently to give them the go-ahead. The work started shortly thereafter on 3 January 2018 - right in the middle of winter! There was a team of people on-site 6 days a week (and sometimes 7) throughout the build (even when we had snow on the ground for 5 days)! Rapid Bee did not take their foot off the accelerator - they had a job to do and planned, managed and focused on getting the job done! Much to our surprise, we made last minute changes and requests that were always accommodated which was very much part of the Rapid Bee overall "can do" attitude. The response from foreman, Ramonos, or tiler, Virgis, was always "no problem"! We believe they went "above and beyond" what we had expected of them. For example, when needing to move furniture into storage at one point, RB assisted us in moving the furniture to the storage location and back again! We were also very thankful for the suggestions they made - for example, increasing the height of the ceiling in the porch (which was not part of the initial project) - which really added value to the end result. The saying "the proof in the pudding is in the eating" absolutely applies with RB. Any issue we had (and you will have issues with any project of this nature), we could rely on them responding promptly and resolving. This was a major project for us to live through but was made manageable by the support we had from Rapid Bee. Adam saulius and thier guys have been absolutely fantastic with our project. They're clear with how they communicate, honest, and deliver quality finishes on time/ahead of time. Weve been able to talk to them openly of any issue that we needed to. They always come up with a range of solutions to fit our specific circumstances. Weve yet to hear a "no that's not possible" it's always a yes with a pros and cons highlighted which is refreshing. Thier teams are extremely hard working people. All the trades that have visited the site also remark on the quality of the work manship. We hired Adam after interviewing several builders for our project. He impressed us not only with professionalism but also his trade knowledge, and most importantly swift communication (which after months of delayed responses from our architects was so refreshing!). We visited 2 of Adam’s (completed and work-in-progress) sites and were very pleased with the results and how organised the sites were which just reaffirmed our choice. The quote provided by Adam was also very competitive and what we would expect for a quality build. Our project included: - kitchen extension with sliding patio doors/roof lantern - installation of kitchen units/appliances, underfloor heating, parquet flooring, downlights throughout - removal of chimney breast and installation of RSJ beams - formation of utility and shower room - Renovation of upstairs bathroom - plastering and painting - external silicone rendering The whole project took 13 weeks. Rapid Bee completed a double extension and full renovation of our 3 storey Victorian house in East London. Works included: new electrics and plumbing, installation of two bathrooms, a cloakroom and a kitchen, plastering, tiling, floorboard renovation, and painting throughout. They also completely overhauled our garden. This was a big project for us and Adam’s team was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. Although Rapid Bee didnt come in as the cheapest quote, we found that actually they are extremely great value for money. If you want a high standard of workmanship Rapid Bee is 100% the right choice to make. We've been working with them for the past 4 months on our project now & through all the complications with the site (poor subsoil no side/rear access, difficult neighbours & a rubbish Architect), Adam and his team have made every part of the process easy and painless. Construction is stressful but each step of the way Adam and Saulius gave us solutions and not problems. My walls are straight, they've gone above and beyond in fixing old problem's & accommodating our needs. The team are extremely polite, they arrive on time, they don't cut corners and they don't do a poor job. They use high quality materials only so you know that your build will last a lifetime. Right now we are 3/4 of the project done. Adam, Saulius are working ahead of schedule without compromising on quality. Very knowledgeable highly skilled team. Family and friends initially felt the quote from Rapid Bee was high and you can get cheaper quotes..However now they are so impressed with the work. You can get a cheaper quote BUT you really do get what you pay for. The project isn't even finished yet but our house is easily the best constructed house inside and out on our street.
